The Directorate of Health.
“When Jens [Kjartansson, plastic surgeon] came to a meeting with the medical director of health in 2010 to discuss the PIP implants, there was no information about their potential danger. Things change later on, discussions grew and took a new course,” Geir told Morgunblaðið on Friday.
Geir is dissatisfied with an employee of the Directorate of Health who attended the meeting with Jens being implicated in the case. “The responsibility in this matter is completely that of the medical director of health,” he stated.
