Icelandic football player Eggert Gunnþór Jónsson, who plays for Hearts in the Scottish Premier League, has been made offers from several clubs.

He has not renewed his contract with the Edinburgh team yet, as his agent Magnús Agnar Magnússon told Fréttablaðið; he wants to wait and see.
There is interest from Premier League (PL) clubs in England and also elsewhere in Europe to sign Eggert. The 23-years-old central defender from Fjarðabyggð, east Iceland, has been playing very well this season, his sixth for the Hearts.
Another Icelandic football player, Heiðar Helguson from Dalvík, north Iceland, has had the season of his lifetime.
He plays for London’s Queens Park Rangers in the English Premier League, and is currently the seventh highest goal scorer in the PL, with six goals, on par with Hernandez of Manchester United, and Tottenham’s Dafoe.
