Just Fearless, an international multi-media organization focused on women’s empowerment announced the “Reykjavík Women Empowering Women Symposium” on December 6 at the Hilton Hotel Nordica this week.

It is an event designed to empower and inspire women to succeed in both their personal and professional lives and support charities that empower and support women and girls in Iceland, a press release describes.

“The Women Empowering Women Symposium was created to help women reach their full potential, recognize their own inner greatness, step out of their comfort zone, and to support non-profit organizations that need it the most,” states Kisha Mays, founder of the Women Empowering Women Symposium and CEO of Just Fearless.

“We are coming to Iceland to inspire women but more importantly, to learn from the women of Iceland as they lead the world when it comes to women’s rights and true gender equality. Reykjavík will be one of our best international W.E.W.S. events for which we are so excited,” she added.
 
Guest panelist speakers include Hafdís Jónsdóttir, CEO of Laugar Spa and president of the Icelandic Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Rúna Magnúsdóttir, founder and CEO of Connected-Women.com, Guðrún Jónsdóttir, Spokesperson for Stígamót (Education and Counseling Center for Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Violence), Minister of Education, Science, and Culture Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Helga Guðrún Jónasdóttir, president of the Icelandic Women's Rights Association and Kristín Ástgeirsdóttir, director of the Centre for Gender Equality.

Just Fearless, founded in 2005, assists women who are the driving force in the economy, helps women invest in themselves, grow their business, and realize their dreams through various programs, events, multi-media programming, and supporting other organizations.
