A large exhibition entitled “Crafts and Design”, opened in the Reykjavík City Hall today and will continue through November 7. This is the sixth time that the exhibition. This year a special committee selected approximately 60 participants.

The artists themselves will present their products, which include accessories made from leather and fish skin, jewelry, glass ornaments, objects made from clay, versatile textile products, objects made from horn and bone and various wooden tools, as stated on the website of Reykjavík City. The exhibition is described as the ideal opportunity for everyone interested in familiarizing themselves with versatile Icelandic art, handicraft and design. The City Hall is open Mondays through Fridays from 8 am to 7 pm and on weekends from 12 noon to 6 pm. For further information, visit the exhibition’s website. ESA
