The Icelandic Ministry of the Interior has received the additional information requested from Chinese investor Huang Nubo in connection with his application for a legal exemption to acquire a piece of land in northeast Iceland, Grímsstadir á Fjöllum.

Icelandic Ministry Obtains Info from Chinese Investor

Huang Nubo presents his investment plans in Iceland in Beijing in September. From RÚV’s coverage of the issue.

Early last month the ministry responded to Huang’s application by requesting more detailed information about his company, Zhongkun Investment Group, and his plans in Iceland. The ministry is now reviewing Huang’s responses, ruv.is reports.

When asked whether the information is sufficient, the ministry’s representatives responded that it won’t be clear until later this week whether a decision can now be made in regards to Huang’s application or whether further information will be called for.
