Lárus Freyr Einarsson, a 24-year-old Icelandic citizen, was found guilty of the fatal shooting of a woman in Denmark in Danish courts yesterday and sentenced to 14 years in prison. His accomplice was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Einarsson owed the victim DKK 19,000 (ISK 400,000, USD 3,600, EUR 2,500), Fréttabladid reports. Einarsson fired three shots through the window of Sörensen’s dining room window. One of the shots hit her in the head and caused her death. She died in the arms of her daughter. The verdict states that Einarsson will be deported after serving his sentence. He has appealed the verdict. ESA
